Article I is captioned “Abuse of Power.”
That filing is documented. It is an allegation by House members, not a Senate conviction, not a judicial finding, and not proof of a crime. Gill’s office press release the same day used the words “radical activist.” Those words are his. They are not this court’s.
The same day, President Trump posted on Truth Social that “This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges’ I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!!” The original post is Truth Social, March 18, 2025. That is his statement. It is not a House vote.
Chief Justice John Roberts issued a public statement the same day: “For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision. The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.” News organizations attributed the statement to the Supreme Court’s public information office. The statement is not a ruling in J.G.G.
Daily Wire reported Gill’s March filing the same day. Daily Wire later reported a separate November 2025 Gill filing tied to Arctic Frost nondisclosure orders. That later filing is reported; this page’s primary PDF is H.Res. 229. Two filings are still not a removal from office.
